After 30 plus years of government service, I retired in 2004. Now I'm watching as that government continues to slide away from what I learned our Founding Fathers intended for this great nation. I've watched (from both inside and outside the government) waste, inefficiency, hopeless bureaucracy, power plays, representation that doesn't really work, and expansion of government into areas that I do not believe were ever intended by the Founding Fathers. I hope to provide a place for people to discuss what is wrong (and hopefully what is right) with our government, as well as trends that bear scrutiny.
