Culture of Corruption

I just read another example of the shenanigans of this Presidency. It seems Obama is lending millions of dollars to Petrobras, Brazil's state-owned oil company (in which George Soros owns major shares). Now let's get this straight....we can't expand drilling in the U.S. or its coastal waters, but we can lend money to a company in which Obama's friend is a major share holder. After 30 plus years of government service, I retired in 2004. Now I'm watching as that government continues to slide away from what I learned our Founding Fathers intended for this great nation. I've watched (from both inside and outside the government) waste, inefficiency, hopeless bureaucracy, power plays, representation that doesn't really work, and expansion of government into areas that I do not believe were ever intended by the Founding Fathers. I hope to provide a place for people to discuss what is wrong (and hopefully what is right) with our government, as well as trends that bear scrutiny.
